Texas Live! job fair Wednesday at Globe Life Park looks to fill spots for late-summer opening<

Texas Live!, the $250 million dining, entertainment and hospitality district opening in the Arlington Entertainment district late this summer, is set to host a job fair from 2 to 7pm. Wednesday.
The aim is to hire workers, from entry-level to managers, in jobs including servers, cooks, bartenders, and entertainers as well as sales marketing, and promotional managers.
Texas Live! is a partnership between the Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies and City of Arlington. The project will feature 200,000 square feet of local, regional and national dining and entertainment and a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion, as well as the Live! By Loews--Arlington, TX upscale hotel.
With 35,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, the hotel is set to open in 2019 with 220 permanent jobs. It will be the first Live! By Lowes hotel.
Restaurant options at the development will include former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman's new restaurant, Troy's.
The overall project will include more than 1,000 new permanent jobs.
This week's hiring event will take place inside the "All You Can Eat" porch, located at the top of the "Right Field Home Run" porch at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Guests can enter near the first base gate and follow the signs to the event.
Free parking will be available in Lots C and J.
